Indoor Rec Soccer
Indoor Rec soccer is for kids ages 4 to 14, run through the Mentor Community Recreation Center. The league consists of one game per week with two 25-minute halves.
All skill levels are welcome, as this is a Recreational league.
Open to all families in Mentor and surrounding communities.

U8 through U15 Divisions
U15: August 1, 2011—July 31, 2014
U12: August 1, 2014—July 31, 2016
U10: August 1, 2016—July 31, 2018
U8: August 1, 2018—July 31, 2020
U6: August 1, 2020—July 31, 2022
What You'll Need
- Shin guards
- Socks
- Indoor turf cleats or Soccer cleats (No Metal)
- Soccer ball:
- Size 3 for U6
- Size 4 for U8 through U12
- Size 5 for U13 and up
- Water bottle
- Black shorts
Jersey included in registration.

Financial Assistance: Families who qualify for free or reduced-price school lunch are eligible for discounted or free registration, and we offer payment plans and assistance for any family that needs them. Please email amanda.constantino@cardinalsoccerclub.org for more information.

All games will be played at the Mentor Community Recreation Center located at 6000 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060
Coach Requests
Indoor teams are smaller than outdoor teams. For this reason, coach requests will be honored in the order they are received.

Coaches
Cardinal is a volunteer-run organization. Coaches receive free registration!
All head and assistant coaches must complete these requirements before coaching:
- Background check
- SafeSport training
- Lindsay’s Law training
- Concussion training
There is no cost to coaches for these requirements. New coaches should allow approximately 3 hours to complete the training and paperwork, plus background-check processing time.

Session 2 Indoor Soccer 2026/2027
Session 2 begins January 8, 2027 and runs for 8 weeks.
Run through the Mentor Recreation Center, this recreational league consists of one game per week for 8 weeks.
The cost for session 2 is $170.
Games occur on weeknights or weekends. Time slots for games will vary. Schedule is finalized by the Mentor Recreation Center the week before games start.
Registration Deadline: December 1, 2026. No late registrations will be accepted.
Cardinal will not be offering a session 3 this year.
